I'm excited to announce a new massage therapy mentorship program that I'm currently developing. This program aims to bridge the gap between massage school education and real-world practice, offering guidance and support to new graduates looking to expand their skills.

What makes this mentorship unique is that it will be co-created with you – the participants. While I have a strong foundation planned, the specific areas of focus will be shaped by the interests and needs of those who join. Whether you're looking to refine your techniques, build a sustainable practice, or develop specialized skills, this program will evolve to address your specific goals.

Right now I am planning a five-class foundations series where we will explore some basic concepts that will build a common language for the rest of the mentorship program. While the preference is to have the intention of continuing as a group, this foundation series can also be taken as a stand-alone training. Please see details below-

If you're interested in being part of this ground-floor opportunity, I'd love to hear from you. Your input will help shape this program into something truly valuable for our massage therapy community!

About the Instructor

With over 20 years of experience in bodywork and education, my journey began with Esalen massage in 2001. My teaching approach integrates multiple modalities and philosophies, including:

  • Rolfing principles

  • Trigger Point Therapy (10+ years of practice and teaching)

  • Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms

  • Continuum Movement

  • Somatic Experiencing

  • Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy

What sets my teaching apart is my commitment to both technical excellence and personal growth. Through my own experiences with professional challenges—including burnout and periods of creative stagnation—I've developed strategies for maintaining vitality and creativity in practice. These insights are woven into my teaching methodology.

Teaching Philosophy

My approach emphasizes:

  • Developing refined quality of contact

  • Building strong anatomical knowledge

  • Cultivating presence and listening skills

  • Creating sustainable practice methods

  • Integrating body mechanics with intuitive awareness

  • Fostering creativity and playfulness in sessions

Vision for Ongoing Mentorship

Following the foundation series, participants will have opportunities to:

  • Participate in regular mentorship sessions

  • Explore case studies and specific themes

  • Learn from monthly guest practitioners

  • Integrate new approaches into existing practice

  • Shape future learning topics based on group interests

This program represents both a structured learning environment and a collaborative laboratory for growth. Together, we'll explore ways to keep our work fresh, effective, and sustainable.

Other offerings

  • Classes for individuals and couples without massage experience.

  • Learn basic techniques to treat common areas of discomfort and enjoy a new way of sharing time together while connecting and helping each other feel better

  • Tutorials for Massage Practitioners.

  • Tutorials tailored to your needs in any aspect of massage, honing in on specific techniques, special problem areas or find new inspiration and a greater sense of connection in your sessions.

Past Tranings

  • Neuromuscular Therapy with a Somatic approach.
This seminar focuses on the somatic perspective of giving and receiving trigger point therapy. We do this by connecting with the sensations and messages that our tissue communicates once we give it the time and attention. It is a transformative experience for therapists, adding depth to their listening skills and a powerful tool for helping their clients to connect at a new level with themselves.
